A picture is worth a thousand words. It refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image or that an image of a subject conveys its meaning or essence more effectively than a description does. What I love about photography is that a single image can create a mood. Whether it's happiness or inspirational, you will feel a certain way every time you look at a picture. For example, an image of your children when they were young, you will feel a certain way. If the picture is an image of you with a loved one in front of the fireplace, without saying a word, you feel a certain way. Or an image of a mountain top with a beautiful sunset. The feeling or mood that you get is why I love photography. Through my images, I hope to take others to a beautiful place in their heart. A place where words can't explain.
